Dear Stranger,
If you are here, I assume you are interested in my poster at ICLR 2025 Workshop. Over the past few conferences and my learnings in thinking from the user point of view instead of entity at stage (person, organisation, me etc.), I realised that the research poster presentations are more geared towards entity at stage than you, the user. Hence, I am trying something new way geared more towards the user and would love to hear your feedback. For rest of this article, I will utilize “me” to indicate entity at stage and “you” to indicate the user.
First off, if there are too many people around me making it difficult to read the poster, just click here and “you” will have pdf of the poster. Secondly, a lot of times, I am already explaining the parts of the poster to certain you’s, and then a new “you” might join. This new “you”, afraid to interrupt the flow of “me” waits until the end of the previous discussion and hopes for “me” to again go through the cycle of explanation. To solve this, I rely on an interesting capability of “us”: humans are usually able to read faster than if another human speaks similar content. Hence, you can get a short (3 pages) written version of the complete paper by just clicking here.
Lastly, if I(“me’) am lucky and there are too many questions and queries, and given that your (“you) time is extremely valuable, “you” can just post these questions/comments and feedback anonymously by clicking here.
And after all this, if you still formally want to reach out for connecting non-anymously, you can do this by clicking here. Together, I hope we can come up with innovative methods to present posters in conferences,
Thank “you” :),
